



Tiles Hop puts a ball on a platform and asks you to swipe left or right to keep it bouncing on a track of tiles that cascades downward in time with the music. The mechanic is simple but hypnotic, and the song selection shares ground with its sibling Magic Tiles 3. For a couple of minutes between other things, it delivers exactly what it promises.
Difficulty spikes unevenly. Earlier songs ease players in, but the jump to harder tracks can feel abrupt and less about musical timing than pure reaction speed. The camera-bounce visual style looks great initially but can become disorienting in long sessions. Like most Amanotes titles, the monetization leans heavily on ads between rounds and a coin economy that nudges toward watching rewarded video for energy or unlocks.
It sits comfortably as a second rhythm game to keep on the phone, lighter than Magic Tiles 3 in scope but also less deep. Good for short commutes, but it doesn’t have the staying power of titles with more content variety.
Verdict: A light, pleasant rhythm game for short bursts that runs out of depth faster than its massive install count suggests.
