About Bobble Pop
A bubble shooter with the one rule that makes the genre good: colour groups fall when you cut them loose. Fire from the bottom, match three or more of the same colour, and they pop. The part worth aiming for is everything hanging underneath them, because any cluster no longer attached to the ceiling drops too and pays a bonus. The grid creeps down as you play and there is a line you do not want it to cross, so it is a race between your aim and the ceiling.
How to play
Aim with the pointer and tap to fire. Match three or more of a colour to pop them, and clear the grid before it descends past the danger line.
Controls
- Aim with the mouse or by dragging
- Tap or click to shoot
- Arrow keys or A and D also aim
What makes it worth playing
- Disconnected clusters fall and pay a bonus, so cutting a support beats popping the group itself
- The grid descends as you play, with a visible danger line as the fail state
- Sixteen visible rows with more waiting above
- The next bubble is shown before you fire, so you can plan two shots ahead

Tips from playing it
- Do not shoot at the biggest group. Shoot at whatever is holding a big group on, and let the whole thing fall.
- Bank off the side walls to reach into an overhang. A straight shot cannot get under a ledge, a bounced one can.
- When the grid is close to the line, clear a column rather than a clump. Height is the thing that kills you, not colour.
Why this game is here, and what we changed
Chosen to fill the Bubble category, which had one game in it. It shipped without a viewport tag, so on a phone it laid out at the 980px desktop fallback and was scaled down blurry. We patched that in our copy and it now fills the screen properly. We host it on our own servers, so it loads straight into the page with no third-party ad code and no pre-roll video, and its MIT licence is kept alongside it. We played it through at phone size on 2026-08-27 before publishing this page, and the screenshots above come from that session rather than from the original project.
More on how we pick and fix these: what we changed in the open-source games and how we test a game.
