These terms cover your use of bestapkgames.com. They are short because the site is simple: a collection of free games that run in your browser, with no accounts, no purchases and nothing to download.

Using the site

You are welcome to play any game here, free, for personal use. We ask that you do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, scrape it at volume, or use automated traffic to inflate ad impressions. That last one matters: fake ad traffic harms the advertisers who keep the games free, and we treat it as abuse.

The games

Most games here were built by our own studio in HTML5. Others are our own editions of classic mechanics that have been in the public domain for a very long time: card layouts, sliding tile puzzles, boards where you line pieces up. Rules like those belong to nobody, and what is published here is our own implementation of them.

A few titles are third-party games that we host ourselves under the open licences they were released with. Those games remain the work of their authors and remain under their own licence terms. The notice and licence text each one requires is preserved inside that game's own folder on our server, alongside its files, and we do not present that code as something we wrote. If you hold the rights to something here

If you believe a game, an image, a sound or a piece of code on this site is used without the credit or the permission its licence requires, tell us through the contact page with the game name and what you found. We would rather correct it than argue about it, and a page can be taken down the same day while we check.

Your progress

Games that save progress or high scores do so in your own browser's local storage. That data stays on your device. Clearing your browser data will erase it, and we cannot restore it, because we never had it.

No warranty

The games and the site are provided as they are. We test every game before publishing it and we fix what breaks, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every game is free of bugs. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of a free games site, which in practice means a lost high score.

Advertising

The site is supported by advertising, served through Google AdSense. How ads and cookies work here is covered in the privacy policy, including your choices about personalised ads.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
