Match 3 Games
Sixty seconds, and then Gem Cascade stops. That clock is the design: our studio built it so the question is never how long you can survive but how much chain reaction you can set off before the timer runs out. After every set of matches resolves it checks that a legal move still exists and reshuffles if one does not, so a run can end on the clock and never on a dead board. Prism Match runs the same swap over an eight by eight grid with no timer at all, no move limit, and no pressure of any kind, which leaves you free to hunt for the one swap that cascades four times over instead of grabbing the first match your eye lands on. Its backdrop brightens while a chain is still paying out, and it deals itself a fresh arrangement if the grid ever runs dry. The mechanic underneath is identical in both: line up three or more of a kind, then watch what falls into the gap they left behind.
