Word Reef runs a hundred levels and starts introducing frozen bubbles and locked letter pairs from around level thirty, so its difficulty arrives in stages instead of all at once from the start. All three games in this section were built by our own studio, and all three open straight into a browser tab. Hexa Word puts a full screen of letters in front of you where several words look, at first glance, like they could belong to more than one category, so noticing the trap is as much of the puzzle as finding the word. Word Search is the format most people already know from a printed puzzle book, a grid hiding words in every direction, rebuilt here with instant restarts and no pencil required. What these share is that the difficulty sits in the reading rather than in a clock, and none of them takes a level away from you for thinking too long.
